Palworld Flying Mounts are a essential if you want a convenient travel option that doesn’t rely on Eagle Statues and fast travel. Gliding around on a Pal does have some drawbacks, mainly that it chews through your stamina, but it’s much easier to explore far and wide in the air than on foot. Thankfully, it’s also quite easy to get a flying mount as there are plenty to catch inPalworld, and you can even work up to getting legendary Pal mounts like Jetragon and Frostallion, but they’re very much an endgame goal. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get a flying mount in Palworld and the best flying mounts available.

By far the easiest Pal to catch that can fly isNitewing- these large birds appear in the starting area and are around level 10, with its particular Saddle comparatively early on the tech tree atlevel 15. There are plenty of other Pals that can fly, but if you want to take off ASAP, Nitewing is the most efficient way to do that.
The big issue with Flying on a Mount in Palworld is thatit uses up Stamina, so you can’t fly indefinitely without having to take the occasional break - thoughPalworld modscan sort this. You can still ride it around on the ground without using up Stamina, so you’re not forced to dismount, but you just need to land every now and then - not to mention that you can’t deploy other Pals when you’re using one as a mount, flying or not. Flying will be a big help when it comes to reaching the statues needed forPalworld fast traveltoo.
So far, all the discovered mounts that can fly in Palworld are as follows.

Keep in mind that their saddlesonly show up in the tech tree as potential research options after you have caught them- so if you want to use thePalworld Falerisas a mount, you need to catch or breed it first, which unlocks the saddle in the tech tree. Then you use points to unlock that, which allows you to craft the saddle at the Pal Equipment bench, and then once that’s crafted, you’ll be able to fly.
Most flying mounts tend to be bosses in-game, marked on your map when you get close to them, but keep in mind that there’s some that can be obtained through a clever application of thePalworld Breedingsystem - check the attached page for all the breeding combos.
