Activision has also confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will land onXbox Game Passon day one. This is a significant shift for Call of Duty andthe first major change that Xbox has madeto how the franchise is handled since the high-profile acquisition of Activision last year.
Even with Black Ops 6 hitting Game Pass the upcoming FPS is landing on PS5, PS4, and PC on the same day. So don’t worry if you you aren’t an Xbox player, you are still sorted.
In addition to this new playthrough footage, fans got a cinematic trailer forCall of Duty: Black Ops 6–Zombies Terminusin early August. And it’s a long one, coming in at over two minutes. The trailer shows how we will continue the Dark Aether storyline. On top of trailers, there have also been plenty of real-world teasers.

Black Ops 6 is described as a spy thriller set in the early ’90s. Developed by Treyarch and Raven (the minds behind some of thebest FPS gamesever made), the new title emphasizes dynamic movement and multiplayer features. In the gameplay reveal above, we can see that cinematic shots are combined with scenes showcasing the ability to slide and run in any direction as you shoot at enemies.
Players can expect 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and four Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6. Theatre mode and Classic Prestige are also making a comeback, so once the game releases in October, you’ll have a ton of content and options from the get-go.

The good news is that the Black Ops 6 beta will start on August 30. The beta will be split into two periods, with Early access running from August to September 4. On September 6, the Open Beta will kick off and run for a few days until September 9. It’s a small window, so be sure to mark your calendars.
