Doctor Who is in the middle of airing its celebratory 60th anniversary special episodes, which see David Tennant and Catherine Tate back again in the Whoniverse. Two specials have aired so far in the line-up, with a third called ‘The Giggle’ on its way very soon.

‘The Giggle’, the third and final of the Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials, will be released on Saturday, December 9 at 6.30pm GMT in the UK on BBC One. It’ll hit Disney Plus in the US on 10.30am PT/1.30pm ET.
How many Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials are there?
The Christmas special, titled The Church on Ruby Road, will hit our screens on Christmas Day on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 5:55pm GMT.
The three anniversary specials will be airing weekly, with a new episode being released every Saturday.

Once the 60th anniversary specials are over and done with, Ncuti Gatwa will step into the TARDIS and take the reins for the Doctor Who Holiday Special, titled ‘The Church on Ruby Road’. That episode arrives, fittingly, onDecember 25on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 5.55pm in the UK and onDisneyPlus in the US.
