The FC 24 Base Icons system is structured differently to what you’re used to from the FIFA days. Gone are Prime and Mid Icons forEA Sports FC 24. Instead, legendary players get additional limited releases through promos likeFC 24 CenturionsandFC 24 Thunderstruck. The Base versions are still worth owning, however, and there are eight newcomers including Bobby Charlton, Mia Hamm, Zico, and Franck Ribery. All the new FC 24 Base Icons
There are eight new FC 24 Base Icons. Combine them together with all the newFC 24 Heroes, such as John Arne Riise and Alex Scott, and it means more than 20 past greats being added to this year’s game. Below are all the Base Icon newcomers, along with their secondary positions.
Three members of theFIFA 23 Base Iconslist no longer hold that status in FC 24. Jari Litmanen and Rui Costa have been downgraded to Heroes items, while Italian striker Christian Vieri is gone from the game completely.
