The Fortnite Tri-Beam Laser Rifle is an iconic weapon from the world of Fallout, and it has now crossed over into the Wastelands of the battle royale. This Fortnite Laser Gun is available to all players, as long as you can find it during a match – unlike theFortnite T-60 Power Armorthat you can only use once you’ve unlocked it by levelling up your battle pass. If you’re searching for this futuristic weapon then there’s good news, as you can now guarantee finding it in a set location, so here’s how to get the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle in Fortnite.

The Fortnite Tri-Beam Laser Rifle is part of the general loot pool, which means you can find it as floor loot, by searching chests and rare chests, by shooting down Supply Drones at Hotspots (marked with a gold name on the map), or by opening Supply Drop crates. While there was previously no fixed location where you could guarantee finding the Fortnite Laser Gun, this situation has now changed following an update.

If you head to the Wasteland shack west of Mount Olympus at the above marked location and speak to T-60 Power Armor, one of theFortnite characters, you can purchase the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle for 300 bars. This character can also be hired as a Heavy Specialist to fight alongside you, but make sure you buy the Laser Gun first as once hired the other options will disappear. Naturally, if another player has already hired T-60 Power Armor or they’ve been eliminated, then you’ll have to try again in another match or look elsewhere.

The Fortnite Tri-Beam Laser Rifle can only be found in Epic (purple) rarity, and carries the following stats:

Note that although the damage rate of 39 is relatively low for an Epic weapon, the Fortnite Laser Gun has infinite ammunition and doesn’t need to be reloaded. You just have to keep an eye on the temperature gauge that fills as you fire it repeatedly, as if that reaches the top it will overheat and the two second ‘reload’ delay will kick in before you can fire it again. You need to fire nine times in a row without pausing to hit that level, so if you space out your shots you’ll be fine.
