How to get Twine in Nightingale

Crafting Nightingale Twine needs you to find fibre - either plant fibre or animal fibre, it doesn’t matter which - and put it through a Spinning Wheel, a constructed item you can create at your base after obtaining the build recipe from an Essence Trader somewhere in your realm. Twine is a pretty unremarkable resource on its own, a simple component, but can be used to create items that’ll bolster yourNightingale gear score.

While you need a piece of special equipment to make Twine in Nightingale - the aforementioned Wheel - it’s one of the easiest things you can craft, so here’s how to go about it.

Crafting Twine in Nightingale

To make a single piece of Twine, you need to combine two of the same Fibre material, but as I’ve mentioned, you need to have built yourself a Simple Spinning Wheel to do so. To get a wheel for spinning fibre,visit an Essence Trader and buy the building recipe for the Simple Spinning Wheel for 55 Essences– in fact, Twine can also be bought for Essences from these traders, but I would only recommend it if you’re desperate as Twine is one of these easiest things to craft in Nightingale.

Next, open the ‘Building’ tab of the Guidebook and select the Spinning Wheel from this list and place it wherever you need it. Finally, you just need to supply the necessary materials, which are:

Now you should have a functioning Simple Spinning Wheel that you can use to craft different thread materials for other crafting projects. From this list, one of the options is obviously Twine, which you can make by adding fibre materials such as Animal Fibre or Plant Fibre to the Spinning Wheel. It doesn’t require any fuel, so just chuck in your fibre and let ‘er spin. You can now use that Twine to create wicks for wax candles, refine it into useful Charm Twine with other materials to later enhance your gear, and more.
