Helldivers 2 Hunters are common Terminids found at all difficulties, small bugs with off-white bodies that tend to jump at players from long distances for sudden surprise attacks. Hunters aren’t individually powerful, but their speed and agility, not to mention that their strikes can slow you down, mean that a group of them can suddenly appear in your face and start hacking at you from all sides, doing massive damage in short time - in fact, many consider them one of the most infamous perils ofHelldivers 2.

Finding Hunters to kill in Helldivers 2 is easy, as these pale critters arefound at any difficulty level and on all Terminid-infested planets, so make sure you’re choosing missions in those yellow sectors of the galaxy map on your Destroyer. At higher difficulties, they become extremely common, often making up the bulk of patrols and Bug Breaches, but you can also find them at nests.
Specifically, you’re looking forsmall, four-legged bugs with little orange wings and pale, off-white bodies.They tend to jump at players from long distances for sudden melee strikes, andif you’re still not sure, try marking one- it’ll reveal the bug’s name.
If you’re looking to kill 25 Hunters quickly for a Personal Order, the best way to do this is to drop into an Eradication mission on Medium difficulty. There should be plenty of Hunters spawning almost constantly so you can mow through them with your weapon of choice. Although, you may also come across other dangerous Terminids, such asHelldivers 2 Bile Spewers, and don’t get Hunters confused with Pouncers, which look very similar but are much smaller and have a greener coloration.
While Hunters are very deadly, they are very weak, taking only a few shots from any primary weapon, at most, to kill. Peppering them with the Sickle, Breaker, or any other primary weapon will kill them easily.
