The Marvel Rivals beta is into its final hours, so this is your last chance to get rewards from Galacta’s Quest and try out some heroes. There’s not much point in trying to get an invite now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s another beta test in the future, so keep an eye out for any news. In the meantime, the huge roster ofMarvel comicscharacters, including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, and more are still available to play for a little longer. The Marvel Rivals closed beta has been extended slightly with an experimental update. The new beta end timeAugust 5 at 1pm UTC– that’s6am PDT, 9am EDT, 2pm BST, or3pm CEST. All the details on the beta are inthis FAQtoo.Progress will not carry over to the full gameonce this test concludes, but there are some exclusive cosmetic rewards you can unlock for the full game by completing challenges in the beta.

If you’ve signed up for the beta on PS5, you should get an exclusive Scarlet Spider costume for Spider-Man, letting you sling webs in a slick black and red suit. Additionally, those playing on Xbox Series S need to be aware that the Past Lives replay system, MVP animations, and Highlight system are disabled to keep the beta running smoothly, but NetEase has said these features will be in the launch version of the game for XSS.

Those of you that signed up early via Steam or completed the console questionnaire should already have your access confirmed through an email with a key you can enter on your respective platform. Furthermore, if you played the previous alpha test and reached level 10, you are automatically eligible for this closed beta test and just need to update the build on Steam.

You can try all these characters across several playlists: Quickplay, Competitive, and Conquest. Quickplay is the standard 6v6 playlist, currently featuring four different maps with their own objectives to complete or victory. Competitive takes this up a level with longer matches andMarvel Rivals ranks.
