October 1 -The 30th Anniversary DualSense controller is now out of stock in both the US and UK, with Game running out of stock in the latter territory this morning. That means all eyes are on October 10 for another restock, though I’d keep in touch with the retailers below for a stealth drop over the next few days.
PS Direct’s own DualSense stock has now run dry, but we’re looking to other retailers for more chances to pre-order the 30th Anniversary controller this week.
US:Check AmazonUK:Check Amazon
Official PlayStation 30th Anniversary DualSense pre-orders went live last week, and this one wasn’t just reserved for PS Direct. Other retailers like Amazon and Walmart were able to list their own stocks on the big day itself, and many did - they were just snapped up incredibly quickly. While some stores have returned pre-orders to the shelves since then, things are moving particularly quickly.
I’d recommend keeping a close eye onWalmartandAmazonin the US. Both of these stores were quick off the mark last week, running their own 30th Anniversary controller pre-orders as soon as Sony opened its own doors. Considering this is where we’ve seen stock before (and the fact that Amazon UK has already restocked once) there could well be more on the way. Other retailers have jumped in overnight as well, with new listing pages appearing at Best Buy and GameStop in the last few hours. If you’re in the UK, we’d recommend heading toGamefor some DualSense pre-orders available now.
Of course, this isn’t the onlyPlayStation 30th Anniversary pre-orderin high demand. You’ll find plenty of gadgets heading to the shelves all in full retro stylings over the course of the next few weeks, as well as fullPS5 Pro pre-ordersas well.
30th Anniversary DualSense pre-orders in the US
Walmart |Check stockWalmart has been showing as out of stock for a little while now, but I’d still recommend checking back here regularly - especially if you’re looking for pickup options. You never know when more DualSense pre-orders might land.
Amazon |Check stockAmazon has had the retro DualSense listed since pre-orders broke, but it’s currently unavailable. The retailer has updated the photography on the site, though, so there’s movement here at least.
Best Buy |Check stockBest Buy has finally listed the 30th Anniversary DualSense controller on its site, after staying out of the race yesterday. This is still listed as ‘coming soon’ so keep a close eye out here.
GameStop |Check stockGameStop has also now listed the DualSense controller but like other retailers it’s currently unavailable. This listing only appeared later in the day yesterday, though so it’s worth keeping in touch.
PS Direct |Out of stockPS Direct went so far as to remove the 30th Anniversary Edition from its page last week, though the retro colorway is now at least listed as an option - even if it is still out of stock.
Amazon |Check stockAmazon actually ran two rounds of 30th Anniversary DualSense pre-orders yesterday (that we caught). That means there could well be more on the way.
Very |Check stockVery was briefly listing the retro controller on its site, but quickly pulled the page down (it was offering an Edge controller for £69.99 after all). If you snuck through to checkout within those few minutes then congratulations, otherwise this is one to watch.
Currys |Check stockCurrys is a little slow on the uptake, with no celebratory DualSense models listed on the site just yet. That could mean there’s a supply ready and waiting to go live, though.
Argos |Check stockArgos is another retailer that can be a little delayed in getting its pre-order stock on the shelves but outlasts others once it’s rolling. That’s because a lot of this stock is allocated by region, so you’ll be checking your post code to see if you’re lucky.
PS Direct |Check stockThe DualSense Wireless controller is out of stock at PS Direct itself, after a particularly fast-moving pre-order day. The listing is still available, though, so more units might make their way to the shelves yet.
Game |Check stockGame did have the 30th Anniversary DualSense on the shelves as recently as Monday, but that stock has since been swept up.
The special edition DualSense will launch on November 21, alongside the rest of the 30th Anniversary Collection.
The 30th Anniversary DualSense controller comes in at $79.99 / £69.99, a slight price jump from the $69.99 / £59.99 MSRP of the everyday white gamepad. Still, that sits inline with previous special edition releases.
The far more premium 30th Anniversary DualSense Edge controller is also available for pre-order today. The pro-style gamepad will only available viaPS Directand also launches on November 21.
We’re also rounding up all thebest PS5 accessorieson the market as well as thebest PS5 headsetsand even morePS5 controllers.

I’d leave the Xbox controller on its shelf this Cyber Monday and buy this $35 gamepad instead
