US pre-ordersUK pre-ordersSwitch Lite pre-orders
We’ve waited a few weeks now, but The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom pre-orders have started filtering onto the shelves. It’s slow going (we’re still waiting for a couple of retailers in both the US and UK), but you can now pre-order not just the game but also the limited edition Nintendo Switch Lite model as well.
In the UK, we’d recommend heading over toVeryfor the fastest delivery, orShopTofor the lowest price. Meanwhile, the US is sticking withBest Buy, with release day pickup available and speedy shipping options up for grabs as well.
Of course, Nintendo also threw a console-shaped curveball at the end of their latest Direct as well. Like previous limited edition runs, these handhelds are likely to move fast, so we’d recommend getting those orders in before the big day. Once again, the US will be heading over toBest Buyfor the Switch Lite pre-order (it’s currently the only retailer with the handheld on the shelves), meanwhile UK players can grab theirs fromAmazon.

At the time of writing, there is no Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom demo to check out in the eShop. However, that could change as we get closer to release day.
It took a little while, but we now know the price of the Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition. The new console will launch at £209.99 / $209.99 and come with 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online for free.
Previous special edition Nintendo Switch Lite consoles have all been limited run, often selling out their initial wave and then appearing on retailer’s sites at slightly higher prices. Still, that initial wave is likely to be fairly large - so if you’re pre-ordering you shouldn’t have too much trouble securing your handheld.
