October 10, 12:30pm ET -If you’re chasing the PS5 30th Anniversary console, it’s worth keeping an eye onGamestopbecause the retailer is releasing 600 systems on the hour every hour until they run out. Across the digital aisle,Walmartstock is flashing in and out. Those spamming refresh have apparently been able to get access, even if it’s only to check if there’s in-store stock availability. Elsewhere, the special PS5 Slim console has gone back to its “coming soon” messaging over atBest Buy, and because the retailer tends to operate in waves, stock could return soon. As for UK readers,Argosseems to have rejoined the fight with more PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary stock.

PS5 30th Anniversary pre-orders are hard to come by, but stock has been popping up at retailers. The PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary version is going in and out of stock atGamestopat the top of every hour, and consoles are flashing in and out atWalmartso long as you’re patient. There’s also a chance it’ll be coming back soon atBest Buythanks to the retailer’s habit of dropping consoles in waves (it was available a little while ago, but is now “coming soon” again).

The wider range of accessories is still unavailable, but we’ll be checking routinely on the PS1-themed controllers over the course of today alongside our search for PS5 30th Anniversary pre-orders. If you’re hellbent on picking up the nostalgic console or handsets, you’ll want to check back here for updates.

As tempting as it may be, we’d urge you not to give in to PS5 Pro bundle resellers, as opportunists are inflating the prices of pre-orders. Yes, we know the pain of seeing an out-of-stock sign, and those listings on marketplaces will look mighty tempting if you’ve got the funds. But take it from us, it’ll feel far more rewarding patiently waiting for consoles to pop back up at reliable retailers than paying over the odds. In Japan, you must have a PS account for the region to pre-order, which highlights just how sought-after the system is.

If you’re on the hunt for aPS5 Proby itself, there’s some better news. The console is available by itself for $699.99 / £699.99 and is still up on PS Direct. Like the 30th Anniversary Collection, standardPS5 Pro pre-ordersare also hitting wider retailers today.

DualSense Wireless Controller |Check stock at AmazonThe 30th Anniversary DualSense controller is out of stock across the web, though I’d recommend checking in regularly with Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart in particular. These are retailers with past stock listings. At the time of writing, Best Buy says the controller is “coming soon” while Walmart claims the handset is out of stock. That could change at any moment, so keep ‘em peeled.

PlayStation Portal 30th Anniversary Edition |Check PS DirectPS Direct has now run out of stock on the PlayStation Portal 30th Anniversary Edition. As it’s the only retailer offering these handhelds in the retro colorway today, that means your next moves are limited. I’d still stay in touch here - you never know if more stock will pop back onto the shelves. However, October 10 will bring another round of pre-orders to take advantage of as well.

While Sony launched its own PlayStation 30th Anniversary pre-orders last week, we’ve got another date to look forward to as well. On October 10 we’ll see more PS5 Slim, DualSense, DualSense Edge, and PlayStation Portal devices hit the shelves in full retro regalia.

The full PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundle was available for £959.99 / $999.99, though it sold incredibly quickly and likely won’t be making its way back to the shelves. However if you’re looking for a cheaper piece of history, the 30th Anniversary DualSense costs $79.99 / £69.99, the DualSense Edge comes in at $219.99 / £219.99, and the PlayStation Portal costs $219.99 / £209.99.

Sony’s collection of 30th Anniversary edition consoles and accessories will be released on November 21, a couple of weeks after the November 7 PS5 Pro launch.

The PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition bundle includes a whole load of tech - you’ll find the following items in the box, all in full retro garb:
